Payment:
All repair work must
be paid for in full at the time of pickup.
We accept Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards and first
person personal
checks from local banks. We reserve the right to charge a
reasonable fee for all
returned checks.
Estimate Fee:
A deposit is required for all repair work:
$40 for CRT television and audio products.
$75 for LCD, Plasma, Console CRT.
$100 for projection type television.
This deposit is applied toward the repair costs if repair is authorized but is not
refundable if declined.
Exceptions: Equipment covered by manufacturers warranty,
equipment serviced within
the the previous 90 days for a similar problem.
Warranty:
We guarantee our repair work for a period of 90 days but this is
limited to the actual
work performed and the parts that were replaced. Additional parts
and labor will be
billed at our regular rates.
In Home Service:
In home service is only available for equipment that was
purchased from VanNoord
Home Entertainment, however, due to the complexity and
construction of modern
electronics very little equipment is serviceable in the home.
Pickup and
Delivery:
Pickup and delivery for items not serviceable in the home is
limited to those purchased
from VanNoord Home Entertainment. For items not covered by a
manufacturers warranty,
this fee must be paid at the time of pickup. (call for rates).
Disposal Fee:
Small items and television 27" and under can be disposed of
at no additional cost. We
reserve the right to assess a reasonable fee for the disposal of
larger items brought in
for service for which an estimate was declined.
Abandoned
Property:
Any item unclaimed for more than 90 days will become the property
of VanNoord Home
Entertainment and will be disposed of at their discretion.
DIY Replacement Parts Sales:
Electronics parts sold over the counter may not be returned for refund and may not be exchanged
for any other goods or services.
All such sales are final and the buyer assumes all liability and risk associated with their installation and use.
